You want a quality equivalent to faster on x264, then you need a 2000s card instead, but you can wait for the 3000s, which probably will achieve an even better encoder at 0 resource needed as usual.General Welcome to twitch startup. Most streamers stream on x264 medium 900p60 at 6000 bitrate, or even 7500-8000, but at 8000 you can even attempt a 1080p stream. Medium is the maximum you can, slower than that really yields nothing. Ways to achieve a clear image will be dropping to 900p or 720p and staying at 60 fps, or going 1080p30fps.Īnother way will be going x264 and trying the fast, faster, or medium preset, see what works for you. The GPU encoder has a fixed quality, that you can improve only a little in obs, but you can't make it better. To stream at high motion game you need either higher bitrate or a slower encoder. ![]() To stream at 1080p with nvenc on a pascal card, you won't achieve a clean image, especially at 60 fps. ![]() ![]() Please help as I feel like I am just doing something wrong but I don't know what!! I have also tried using NVENC and x264 and found better results with NVENC. My computer is capable of running the game and stream at the same time as I have checked their usage during streams and they are only at about 60-70% for GPU and 20-30% for CPU. I have looked at several "optimal settings" videos and still with their help it is not helping my situation. I have looked online for days trying to figure something out and have found nothing. My current upload speed is around 16mbps aswell. While I watch the counter while I am streaming and it says that it is outputting around 5,000-6,500 kb/s while my stream is running. I currently am streaming at 720p 60fps using Streamlabs OBS and have my Bitrate set to 6,000. My primary game is Rocket League, and I know that it can be a difficult game to stream as there is a lot of fast movement for the output to catch up on but even with my encoding settings cranked it still does not look good. One thing that I have noticed so far is that my streams (especially webcam for some reason) distort and look very blurry as I play my games. Hi I've been streaming for a little while on Twitch. ![]()
